Catalyst acted as the Development Manager for Starwood Capital Group, for the conversion of an existing 18-storey office building to a new hotel. Project included abatement and complete interior demolition, all new MEP systems, structural modifications and build out.

The Project is a mixed use development comprised of 827050sf, 662 rental apts 637048sf, ground floor retail/ 16500sf and 664 on grade parking spaces (covered and uncovered). The project has site plan approval and has two phases and a remedial action work plan clean-up program. Phase One consists of 224000sf, 209 dwelling units and 8270sf of retail (ground floor). Phase Two is comprised of 431 dwelling units, 8038sf retail and 436 parking spaces on grade.

The Project is being developed with a Historic Tax Credit and will include retail, Food Hall, commercial offices and a new rooftop penthouse restaurant.

Atton Brickell Hotel is a unique project as it is the first Hotel in the USA for a Hotel-Owner/Operator, Atton Hoteles, from Santiago, Chile. The development is located adjacent to the historical Simpson Park and consists of 287,000 square feet on about an acre of land. 275 guestrooms are located within a 12 story tower and the hotel includes the following public amenities: main public lobby contiguous with lounges, a market, bar, restaurant and meeting rooms on the ground level and roof pool deck with cabanas, additional meeting rooms, bar, fitness center and parking within a podium. Back of house areas support the hotel operations. The project is to be certified as Silver LEED.
